Cristina Arau
Founder & Executive Director

Cristina is a visionary creator, guided by her heart and in service of life. In 2013 she founded Love For Life following her life-long passion to bring together the inner and outer work, recognizing that our state of doing is informed by our state of being. Cristina studied ‘International Development’ and a Master of Arts Program in ‘Peace, Development, Security and International Conflict Transformation’. As a humanitarian and peace worker she lived and worked in numerous countries around the world. For the United Nations, she worked in the IDP camps in northern Uganda while documenting and codifying the traditional restorative justice system (re-)discovering voices of peace and reconciliation in the 2008 peace process. She served on the first congressional campaign of Marianne Williamson which initiated a new political conversation and called for a politics of love to shift our attention upon healing the experiential divide that lies at the root of much of what is unravelling today. Cristina is a multiple-trained, trauma-informed teacher and perpetual student of inner and embodiment practices, social entrepreneur, and Nature lover.
